If you ask any Dubai resident to name the must-visit places in the emirate, low-key Pakistani restaurant Ravi will be near the top of most lists. And it seems One Republic's Ryan Tedder has been well advised, as the singer headed down to the Satwa eatery this week. By all accounts, the American star loved it. "Anyone ever travelling to Dubai, worth the drive to old town, we always hit Ravi," Tedder told his Instagram followers. "It’s a 10. Get it. Food is good when you eat it." The singer posted a photo of himself yesterday, as rain was pouring down in the city, pointing up at the Ravi sign. To really highlight just how much he loves the place, he then added two more photos, progressively zooming in to his delighted face: Ravi Restaurant is the kind of place where two people will get change from Dh100 and walk away full. The dhal fry, chicken jalfrezi and Peshawari mutton are particularly popular orders, along with the wide selection of biryanis. The Counting Stars hit-makers were in the emirate to perform at the Dubai Airshow Gala Dinner at the Coca-Cola Arena last night. While in the UAE, Tedder paid his respects to UAE President Sheikh Khalifa and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, with a post captioned "Between Two Kings." Tedder also enjoyed checking out Dubai Police's McLaren cars in JBR. "Never. Felt. Safer. Thanks to the Dubai Police for getting us to the venue safely tonight. McLarens ONLY from now on," Tedder captioned his snap. Earlier in the day, ahead of their gig, it seems they went go-karting as a band. The band will be returning to Dubai in February next year, when they take to the stage for the public at the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival 2020. One Republic will be headlining the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre festival on Friday, February 28, joining Lauryn Hill on Wednesday, February 26, and Lionel Richie on Thursday, February 27. _________________ Read more: 'Kim Kardashian requested a camel ride on the beach': meet the man who ensures the rich and famous enjoy their holidays in Dubai Celebrities in the UAE: Nile Rodgers, Gemma Collins and Sunny Leone have all been spotted in Dubai 'Egyptian magic got my heart': Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom visit Egypt's pyramids _________________
