New Lebanese restaurant opens at Sofitel Downtown Dubai

Al Jazira Chez Louis has just opened its doors at the Sofitel Downtown Dubai. The well-known seafood restaurant comes from Lebanon where it has been a favourite Beirut restaurant since 1955. Just like the original, the sister restaurant in Dubai serves up raw bar specialities and appetisers that include hot and cold mezze, oysters, chilled lobster and more.

The signature dish is the fish in sea salt — a fish packed in salt and then baked. Once cooked, it’s cracked open to reveal a perfectly moist, flavour-packed fish.

Ammar Hilal, the general manager of the hotel, says, “We are very thrilled with the opening of Al Jazira Chez Louis, a great addition to Sofitel Dubai Downtown restaurants collection. We are positive that our guests will not only enjoy delicious and freshly prepared seafood but also discover a real Lebanese food journey.”
