Michelin star chef Jason Atherton to open restaurant in Dubai

British celebrity chef Jason Atherton will debut his first restaurant in the Middle East at the upcoming InterContinental Dubai Marina.

Atherton came to Dubai as the executive chef of Gordon Ramsey’s Verre in 2001. He gained worldwide recognition with Pollen Street Social in London, which was awarded a Michelin star just one year after it opened. He has restaurants in Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai as well.

The new venture is a culmination of Atherton’s international experience and knowledge of the region and will offer a fine dining experience, along with a trendy nightspot with a DJ booth.

“The Marina has transformed by leaps and bounds since I last lived here 10 years ago,” said Atherton.
