Try this laid-back iftar with a three-course set menu inspired by seasonal produce. Start with a choice of crispy calamari with courgette and harissa mayonnaise or chicken and spring-onion pakora salad; go on to sumac-rubbed salmon with fennel, radish, mint and feta salad or slow-braised lamb shoulder with chickpeas, fried aubergine and sumac yogurt; and end with an iced date parfait topped with sweet saffron honey.

A different Arabic buffet is featured each day at Al Nafoorah, where the focus is on authentic Lebanese cuisine. Signature dishes – such as djaj bil sanieh (baked chicken and potato with lemon and coriander); mahashee (marrow, aubergine, vine leaves and lamb chops), lamb spinach and grilled fish – are rotated daily, while staples include chicken shawarma, lamb ouzi and mixed grill.
