Celebrate the last iftar of the holy month at this hotel, which prides itself as a destination that offers the authentic values of Arabian culture (“rayhaan” describes an aromatic plant mentioned in the Holy Quran by the Prophet Mohammed). The extensive iftar, prepared by chef Abu Halab and his team, features traditional Arabic and Emirati cuisine – as well as dishes from around the region. Arabian oud music will help set the mood.

Sufra (tablecloth in Arabic) offers an iftar buffet with cuisines from Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Iran, Turkey, Greece and the Mediterranean. Signature dishes include kousa bil laban (stuffed courgettes with yogurt), roasted baby chicken with freekeh, wood-fired oven baked fatayer and seared sea bass with sayadieh rice. The views are gorgeous – the restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Creek Park.
