If you’re craving some of your favourite burgers and steaks from various restaurants around the city, it’s now possible to recreate the magic at home. Here are some establishments offering DIY burger and barbecue kits in the UAE. You can now whip up and sink your teeth into home-grown brand Salt's famous sliders without stepping outside the house. The popular burger spot has introduced home kits offering everything you could possibly need. The mini kit, with 10 wagyu beef patties, buns, lettuce, cheese, jalapenos, pickles, chopped onions, tomato slices, salt, pepper and three sauces (original, fire and barbecue sriracha) is priced at Dh210, and there’s a large version with 20 patties and buns priced at Dh375. Deliveries are available in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi through Zomato, Talabat and Chatfood. For more information, call the Kite Beach branch on 055 996 5802 The French bistro has launched Couqley at Home, which gives budding chefs loads of opportunities to polish up their cooking skills. Want to grill your own burgers? The restaurant will send you patties, potato buns, aged cheddar, lettuce, sliced tomatoes and onions, condiments and frozen French fries, so you can make your own whopper. Prices start at Dh78 for two, with add-ons available. Meanwhile, Dubai residents craving steak can order 250g of rib-eye, green salad and rosemary cubed potatoes or French fries, with prices starting from Dh258. You can even recreate the restaurant’s signature dish of steak frites. Couqley is delivering 180g fillet steak, sauce, green salad and frozen French fries, with prices starting Dh138 for two. For more information, visit www.couqley.ae The UAE’s first delivery service for organic beef patties is here to help you whip up professional burgers in your kitchen (or garden). Those interested can place orders for boxes of six, 12 or 18 raw burgers, priced at Dh205, Dh310 and Dh415 respectively, before choosing their sauce (ketchup and mayo are great, but how about giving the special "messy" or "fire" sauces a try?). The burgers will be delivered along with buns, cheddar, pickles, onions, lettuce and tomatoes, within insulated cooler bags. Have a sweet tooth? The brand has recently included a Yam’ah Box with two tubs of home-made ice cream, and a selection of crunchy toppings and drizzle sauces, plus speciality coffee, cups and spoons for six, priced at Dh320. The service delivers across the UAE, but orders have to be made through the website a day in advance. For more information, visit www.bbqbox.ae
