There's so much going on at the moment that we simply ran out of space in yesterday's roundup of Christmas dining options. Have a look below if you're still searching for somewhere to eat on the 25th or celebrate on the 31st.
If you’re not yet feeling festive, then a visit to The Gramercy in DIFC could be just what you need. They’re currently bang smack in the middle of their 12 days of Christmas celebrations; head over tonight for a Christmas rock party, visit on the 22nd for a festive movie night or try mulled drinks and mince pies on the 23rd. On the 25th meanwhile they’re serving a three course Christmas lunch (menu above) for Dh225 per per person from 12pm- 4pm. For bookings call 044377511.
The JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai is one of the city’s latest openings. La Farine's Christmas Eve/Day dinner package costs Dh165 per person and includes traditional turkey with seasonal sides. The cafe is also offering a takeaway service (5-6kg turkey for Dh550, 8-9kg for Dh675). For reservations or to place an order call 04 4140 000.
If your New Year plans aren’t sorted, the terrace at modern Indian restaurant Ushna in Abu Dhabi would be a nice place to spend the evening and will guarantee that you’re in a prime spot for the fireworks. Their four course dinner costs Dh599 (with drinks) and includes spiced lamb, butter chicken and salmon steaks. For bookings call 02 558 1769.
For a more extravagant night of partying, Japanese restaurant Okku’s is promising great food and music, with plenty of glitz and glamour. The theme is fire and ice, resident DJ Marshall will be on the decks and guests have been told to expect a few surprises. Dinner packages start at Dh850, a dinner and party ticket will set you back Dh1,200. Okku is serving its full a la carte menu and will be open until 4am. Call 04 501 8777 or email reservations@okkudubai.com.
For the day after, Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach is putting on a BBQ brunch out on the terrace at AOC French Brasserie, with the likes of whole baked salmon in a salt crust and rib of beef on the menu. Call 04 448 4870.
