One of the first places tourists seem to head to while on a visit to Dubai is the Dubai Mall – and Eva Longoria proved to be no different. The Desperate Housewives star was seen exploring the mall on Monday, December 16 where she gave a shout-out through Instagram to Italian restaurant Gia for a great lunch. This was after she spent the morning at a Dubai desert, where she was photographed with a falcon. “Uh-oh, don’t let me into this mall! I’ll never come out,” the star posted while showing Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue. She was also heard complimenting Dubai Mall on her Instagram stories. "I also really like this mall because it has white floors and really good lighting," she says, before talking about how she was going to get some of her Christmas shopping done there. The evening commenced with a meal fit for a star – a dinner at Nusr-Et Steakhouse, founded by Turkish butcher Nusret Gokce, popularly known as Salt Bae. Longoria's Instagram stories show a waiter at the restaurant slicing up a gold-plated steak. The Nusret Golden Steak is one of Salt Bae's signature dishes; the 400-gram ingot cut of sirloin covered in gold leaves goes for Dh1,250. A picture of a waiter sprinkling salt just like the famous Salt Bae meme also made its way into the star’s Instagram stories. Longoria must have been more than satisfied with the meal – she later posted a picture of herself shaking her head in delight while at the restaurant. “Mood when the food finally arrives,” read the caption. Longoria has visited the UAE numerous times over the last few years. The star got engaged to her now husband, Jose Baston, in Dubai in 2015, making it a special place for her.
