Mykonos celebrity hot spot Nammos will open its much-anticipated Dubai outpost next week. The Greek beach club and restaurant, famed for its turquoise and white umbrellas, will open at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai, Jumeirah Beach Road, on Monday, December 23. The venue will feature a private beach and an open-air dining area, as well as all the marks of Nammos’s island-style luxury. The original location, in Psarou on the Greek island, is renowned for its day-to-night parties and Mediterranean-influenced dishes, of which the Dubai venue is expected to have plenty. “We’ve mastered the art of daytime entertainment, and now aim to do the same with the night,” says Ibrahim Samy, founder of Nammos World. “From the island renowned for its whitewashed houses on the Psarou Beach, to the city of abundance and high energy, Nammos Dubai takes the best of Mykonos and adds all the elements expected of Dubai. “When opening in Dubai, we needed to really rework the concept to ensure that it stays relevant all year round. We needed to tap into the dinner crowd and design something that would stand out in this city’s very competitive dining scene,” he said. The Nammos restaurant will serve up a Greek-inspired menu, with a particular focus on seafood, crafted using fresh produce shipped in from Greece every morning. The menu will also include fresh pasta, risottos, sushi and sashimi. The Mykonos branch – which has been graced by the likes of models Shanina Shaik and Kendall Jenner – is well known for its summery blue and white colour palette, which will be recreated in Dubai. The restaurant and beach club will join other dining options at the Jumeirah hotel including Sea Fu and Suq.
