The best of Australian produce is on the menu in the Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort and Spa.

The Australian Adventure promotion teed-off recently at the in-house Fairways restaurant with dishes ranging from wagyu sushi rolls, Tasmanian salmon sashimi and the much loved Aussie classic: Lamingtons.

The highlight however is the a la carte steak menu, cooked to order and arriving with a vast array of side dishes including mashed potato.

The concept was co-designed by celebrity master Chef Tarek Ibrahim and Fairways Executive Chef David Contreras.

The former states Australian meat has a lot to offer food lovers.

“When you talk about Australian produce it really is the best in the world and for me Australian meat truly is centre of plate,” Tarek said.

“From the melt in your mouth beef to succulent lamb chops you get an exquisite eating experience every time.  Most importantly though it’s meat I trust as its halal integrity is second to none”.

Contreras said the Australian flavours are in line with Fairways culinary outlook.

“Australia is known for its healthy quality produce and that goes extremely well with our hotel’s philosophy of eating well,” he said.

Australian Adventure runs until October 26, buffet prices begin from Dh180 (plus taxes). The Steak al la carte menu start from Dh209 (plus taxes). 6.30 to 11pm. For details call 02 616 9999 or email FBadmin.Auh@westin.com
