New York-born burger joint Black Tap is known for its crazy milkshakes, gourmet burgers and for being the first venue to bring the famous Impossible Burger to Dubai. Now there's a trendy new branch in The Dubai Mall, complete with a "boombox booth", "cassette wall" and dedicated freakshake counter for customers looking to take their photo-worthy creation away. There are already three branches of Black Tap in the city, at Jumeirah Al Naseem, Rixos Premium JBR and in Dubai Festival City. There's usually a fourth UAE venue in Abu Dhabi, located at Yas Mall's Cascade Dining, although a note on its website says it's closed until further notice. The newest location had its official opening towards the end of last month, on Saturday, May 23, as shopping malls in Dubai were allowed to reopen with limited capacity. Take a look through the photo gallery below to see what it looks like: As of Wednesday, June 3, the emirate's shopping centres were allowed to operate at 100 per cent capacity for the first time in more than two months. The branch is located on The Dubai Mall's lower ground floor, in the fountain area. While children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the mall at the moment, the Rixos Premium JBR branch is allowing little ones on the premises at the moment. It has previously been reported that Black Tap also plans to open a fifth Dubai branch at Mall of the Emirates.
