Fitness trainer to Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone brings her uncompromising approach to Dubai

A new studio has teamed up with Yasmin Karachiwala, trainer to some of the film industry's biggest stars

Yasmin Karachiwala, the personal trainer who for two decades has been keeping Bollywood’s biggest stars in top form, has partnered with Shaazia Qureishi and Abbas Kanchwala for the opening of PAD, a new dance and Pilates studio in Dubai. Karachiwala has become famous for her work with the likes of Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone, and says she’s more interested in how fit her clients are than how thin. She has a reputation for an uncompromising approach to getting (and staying) in shape, so expect a proper workout if you sign up for the classes at this new venue in Onyx Tower 1, The Greens.

Group Pilates sessions start at Dh70 per class, while private and semi-private (with a partner of your choice) classes start at Dh210. If you would prefer to dance away those calories while getting toned, perhaps opt for the hour-long cardio classes, which include Bollywood routines, as well as contemporary dancing, jazz and Zumba. In addition, weekend workshops (two hours in duration) are available for anyone wishing to learn entire Bollywood songs and choreography, and there are post-natal and parent/child classes, too.
