Tag Heuer pays tribute to Dubai with new timepiece and three watch faces, at Arabian Travel Market 2017

To mark its partnership with Dubai Tourism, Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer unveiled the new Dubai Connected Watch Modular 45 Special Edition, as well as three digital watch faces inspired by the emirate, at the ongoing Arabian Travel Market (ATM) event.

The new watch is mounted on a brown calfskin strap embossed with a “Dubai” stamp, while the case-back is engraved with the Dubai logo. In keeping with Tag’s affordable-luxury philosophy, the watch is priced at Dh8,000.

Collectors can also choose from three thematic watch faces inspired by the dynamic city of Dubai. The first is built around the city-that-never-sleeps reputation, and comes with a metallic finish, ideal for night-time wear, and the shade of blue particular to Dubai’s logos and branding.

The second watch face, is titled Land of Desert and Sea, and its varying colours suggest a tranquil ocean or desert-like vibe, depending on the time of day. The third option, called Your Time, Our Essence, has iconic motifs – including the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, a falcon and a peacock – used to represent each hour on the dial.

The 200 special-edition timepieces and the three watch faces will be available in-store from the third week of June.
