She might live in a city of stars, as the La La Land song goes, but Emma Stone doesn't seem to have much trouble shining bright among the competition when it comes to the red carpet.

The American actress, 32, has become one of Hollywood's most exciting style mavens in recent years, known for easing effortlessly between ethereal gowns and avant-guarde suiting.

The Favourite actress, who made her film debut in 2007's Superbad, might have started out in the public eye wearing the jersey dresses and minis favoured in the Noughties, but has developed an eye for more contemporary silhouettes.

Stone often sticks to the usual suspects – such as Valentino, Lanvin and Dior – for premieres and awards ceremonies, but became an ambassador for Louis Vuitton in 2017, meaning she often steps out in the French maison's designs.
