The title of her first big feature film pretty much sums up Jennifer Aniston's red-carpet approach: Picture Perfect.

The American actress, 51, was one of the pioneers of the ultra-polished look that swept through Hollywood in the early '00s, with her silk bias-cut dresses, sleek hair and pared-back make-up.

However, when the star first burst on to the scene in 1994 sitcom Friends, she wasn't immune to the denim waistcoats and voluminous tailoring of the decade.

However, as her star rose, so, too, did her styling budget, with Aniston developing a penchant for classic A-list labels, including Valentino, Versace and Prada.

While a long-time friend of the timeless LBD, the Marley & Me actress has also dabbled with pops of colour and scene-stealing sequins in recent years, though always coming back to her minimal signature style.
