Motiongate Dubai is offering UAE nationals and residents tickets for just Dh49 this weekend, to celebrate the Year of Tolerance. The discount for the film-inspired indoor theme park is valid from Thursday, November 14 to Saturday, November 16, and hopes to "bring people together from all walks of life and countries of the world to create shared experiences and memories" in honour of the Year of Tolerance. The park will be open from 11am, and there will be a buffet available at King Julien’s Sideshow Cafe for Dh98 (including admission) or Dh55 if purchased at the restaurant. Plus, complimentary VIP parking is also available for guests. "This offer is in line with the UAE government’s Year of Tolerance initiative which celebrates the spirit of acceptance, co-existence and oneness," the theme park said in an announcement. If you don't make it this weekend, don't panic, as there are more deals to be had at Motiongate Dubai. Until Saturday, November 30, Omani residents can get a one-day, two-park ticket for Dh195, which gets them access to Legoland Dubai and Motiongate Dubai (the regular price is Dh295). Guests driving from Oman to the UAE can collect an offer voucher from the border, but must show Omani national IDs on entry. Under a new special rate, nannies can avail Dh50 tickets, when accompanying family members with a full-priced ticket. Plus, if you book online, tickets are up to 30 per cent off. One-park passes start at Dh195 for the day (down from Dh275) depending on when you visit.
