Amr Diab rang in the New Year in Dubai.

The Egyptian pop-star spent the last moments of 2020 with family and a small number of friends on a yacht, from where they watched the spectacular Burj Al Arab fireworks.

Not long after, Diab, clad in black, posted a celebratory Facebook video with the in fireworks the background. “Happy New Year from Dubai. Goodbye 2020 and hello 2021,” he said before sending his fans a kiss.

Diab had every reason to be happy, as he was surrounded by his nearest and dearest. His daughter Kinzy dropped a few Instagram videos on New Year's Eve that showed her partying on the boat with her sister Jana and brother Abdulla.

The following day, Diab posted photos by a swimming pool with singer Ragheb Alama. The latter was in Dubai, where he performed a New Year's Eve concert at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach.

It will be Diab's turn to hit the stage next, with the singer recently confirming a concert at Dubai International Stadium on Friday, January 22. It is shaping up to be a must see-gig for Diab fans, as it will be one of the first shows where he will play tunes from the new album Ya Ana Ya La, which was released on December 25. The gig will also bolstered by a number of one of hit singles Diab released last year.
