Emirati-Yemeni singer Balqees Fathi is stepping into the world of cosmetics with the launch of her own beauty line. The star, who has made her love of beauty clear in the past, revealed the news on Instagram in celebration of her birthday on Tuesday, giving details of some of the products set to be included in her first range. The brand, Bex Beauty, will launch with a “fabulous range of foundations called Drama Therapy Foundation", the post said. In a second post announcing the launch, she said: “For two years, I had the idea to create a special brand of make-up that suits me and [is] suitable for girls from the Gulf and the Middle East.” The star adds that she has personally sourced all the ingredients for the foundation herself, using the best products from around the world. Bex Beauty will be available from Tryano stores in Abu Dhabi, and from select Faces stores in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Fathi, the daughter of famed musician Ahmed Fathi, joins the likes of <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/arts-culture/music/did-rihanna-just-confirm-her-split-from-saudi-arabian-businessman-hassan-jameel-1.1000148">Rihanna,</a> Selena Gomez and Jennifer Lopez, who have entered the world of beauty. She made her music debut in 2013 with the record-breaking album<em> Majnoun</em>. Her follow-up release, <em>Zai Ma Ana</em>, was even more successful, being named the most downloaded album on iTunes in the Middle East in 2015.
