Five-time boxing world champion Floyd Mayweather has just paid a visit to Saudi Arabia. He was there to attend the Italian Super Cup (Supercoppa Italiana) in Jeddah, where he watched Juventus beat AC Milan.

He also found time to hang out with forward Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest of the Juventus team in the locker room.

He then took the time to take a tour around the historic city of Al Ula, the tourist's alternative to Jordan's Petra and the first of the kingdom's cities to appear on the Unesco World Heritage List.

Al Ula is host to the Winter at Tantora music festival, which will see the likes of Andrea Bocelli and Yanni perform amid the spectacular archaeological sites in February. A video posted on the official Twitter account for the festival shows the undefeated boxer enjoying a helicopter ride over the city.

Al Ula is also home to Madain Saleh, which in 2008 became Saudi Arabia's first Unesco World Heritage Site, and where nearly a hundred rock-cut facades of tombs pierce the cliffs and spectacular island-like stacks of rock erupt on the desert fringes.
