Plenty of famous faces welcomed 2020 from the UAE: Hardik Pandya got engaged on a boat and Italy's biggest fashion star hung out at Burj Khalifa

1 & 2. Krunal and Hardik Pandya

The Indian cricketer brothers were in Dubai to celebrate New Year's Eve at Atlantis, The Palm, and Hardik got engaged while on a boat cruising along the Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah coastline.

3 & 4. Chiara Ferragni and Fedez

The Italian fashion designer shared snaps from her Dubai family holiday with her 18 million Instagram followers. Her husband, Fedez, is a rapper who has been certified as 3 x Platinum in Italy.

5. Moneybagg Yo

The rapper spent large at The Dubai Mall, and then shared behind-the-scenes footage filming a music video in what looked like Dubai.

The French model and Dancing With the Stars dancer shared this amazing photo from the Dubai Frame, with the caption: "Jump into 2020 like..."

The Bayern Munich player from Brazil was on the Palm Jumeirah to ring in the new year, and also shared Insta stories from Burj Khalifa.

The Indian megastar spent time by the beach in Dubai while on holiday.
