UAE loyalty cards sure to whet the appetite

Three of the best loyalty cards for those that love to dine out in the UAE.

Wafi Rewards Card

Benefits: Dine in any outlet in Dubai's Wafi Mall, Khan Murjan Souk or Pyramids and receive one point for every Dh1 spent. The points have a dirham value of 1 per cent of your total points. Consumers can earn higher points for shopping at certain outlets and for the number of transactions they make in a single month.

Watch out for: Points are only valid for 12 months and there is a cap on the amount of points you can earn in a single purchase of Dh50,000.

Privilege Club

Benefits: With dining benefits such as 25 per cent off your food bill and 20 per cent off all beverages, Privilege Club from InterContinental Hotels Group is ideal for those who enjoy eating out. Additional benefits include discounts on hotel stays, health club memberships and beach entry. Participating hotels include InterContinental Abu Dhabi, Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi Yas Island and Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi and Dubai

Watch out for: Privilege Club membership fee is Dh1,095.

Sirius

Benefits: Diners at any Jumeirah establishment can earn one Sirius Point for every US$3 spent, which can then be redeemed on eating out at Jumeirah venues. The scheme is free to join with three tiers of membership. The top tier – gold – offers the most savings for diners. Points can also be earned and redeemed on hotel stays, leisure activities and shopping at Jumeirah outlets.

Watch out for: The points are valid only for two years from the date of transaction.
