Loan rates start from 6.5 per cent reducing. A processing fee of 1 per cent of the loan (minimum Dh500 and maximum Dh2,500) is applied. Watch out for: The Dh2,500 payback is subject to eligibility.
Emirates NBD
Benefits: Apply online for a personal loan from Emirates NBD and receive a Dh500 discount voucher. The loan comes with a processing fee of 1 per cent, up to a maximum of Dh2,500, and the option to skip two non-consecutive instalments per loan year.
Watch out for: Late payments on monthly instalments will receive a Dh50 charge.

Electoral College Victory
Trump has so far secured 295 Electoral College votes, according to the Associated Press, exceeding the 270 needed to win. Only Nevada and Arizona remain to be called, and both swing states are leaning Republican. Trump swept all five remaining swing states, North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, sealing his path to victory and giving him a strong mandate.
