A guide to creating an “electronic travel document” for Emiratis who wish to travel to the UK has been issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A new and permanent user account needs to be created with one’s passport details and residence address.
The user should update his account as a prelude to creating an electronic document application, with information including passport and flight details to the UK.
Ahmed Alham Saeed Al Dhaheri, director of consular services at the ministry, urged Emiratis to adhere to the UK’s laws and register with the Tawjdi (my whereabouts) service for citizens before leaving the UAE.
