Sharjah tourism officials are participating in a Russian expedition to promote the emirate as an ideal tourist destination.
The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority is participating in the Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition for the seventh year in a row, said Wam, the state news agency.
Khalid Al Midfa, chairman of the authority, said Sharjah is an ideal tourist destination for families because of its mild weather and sandy beaches on the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman, desert activities, hotels and museums.
The Sharjah delegation included representatives from the Sharjah International Airport and Air Arabia.
