ABU DHABI // A new building at the Saadiyat Beach Residences gated community has been put up for sale, with prices starting at Dh1.7 million.
Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), the developer, said the first building in the complex had been launched in October.
The new building comprises one-to four-bedroom residential units, with resident and visitor parking spaces, gymnasiums, tennis and basketball courts, swimming pools, multi-purpose courts and a retail cafe.
“Our decision to release a new set of apartments for sale at Saadiyat Beach Residences has been driven by the market demand, which we saw with the sale of the first building,” said Ahmed Al Fahim, executive director of marketing, communications, sales and leasing at TDIC.
Apartments are available in “Arabesque” and “Mediterranean” architectural styles.
A nursery, a school and New York University Abu Dhabi are scheduled to open this year on the island, TDIC said.
A retail centre with a grocery store, pharmacy, hair and nail salon and coffee shop is also set to developed.
Other projects planned for Saadiyat Island include the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, the Zayed National Museum and the Performing Arts Centre.
