A new abra service is being introduced at Khor Al Maqtaa in Abu Dhabi. The 20-minute round-trip journey is open for passengers daily from 6pm until midnight, the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority said. The abra will call at four places including the Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, as well as the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Souk Qaryat Al Beri and the Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri. Capt Tony’s, a boat tours and events company, is operating the service, which is free of charge and allows hotel guests, diners and shoppers to visit both sides of the canal, the TCA said.
