DUBAI // Dubai Courts has entered the Guinness World Records for ‘selling the most expensive ship via an e-auction’.
The Dh74 million vessel was sold in an online auction through use of smart applications, as part of partnership between Dubai Courts and Emirates Auction. The highest bidder was a company headquartered in East Asia.
Taresh Eid Al Mansouri, Director General of Dubai Courts, received the registration certificate from the Guinness administration during a reception of the Guinness delegation.
Mr Al Mansouri expressed his pride in the achievement Dubai Courts has made as the sole court worldwide to have entered the Guinness World Records. He noted that investors from around the world took part in the auction which helped get the highest price possible.
