The Dubai developer Damac Properties has launched its first hotel villa concept.

Nova Hotel Villas at Akoya Oxygen will start at Dh1.75 million for a three-bedroom home, with the units available with up to six bedrooms.

The villas come with private gardens library, solar water heating systems and “have the comforts of an expansive home with the added benefits of services more traditionally associated with the world’s finest hotels” Damac said in a statement.

Niall McLoughlin, senior vice president at Damac said “owners will be able to enjoy peace of mind that their home is cared for 24/7 and they can sit back and enjoy the benefits of living in one of Dubai’s most sought after addresses”.

The Akoya Oxygen community is set to have the region’s first rainforest, plus the Trump International Championship-standard golf course.

Damac last month reported a 3 per cent rise in profit from its property interests for the first quarter of the year.

It said that over the past 18 months prices in Akoya by Damac rose from Dh960 per sq ft to Dh1,360.

JLL and Standard & Poor’s have predicted that average house prices in the city may fall by as much as a fifth this year.
