Aldar receives wave of demand from corporate clients for Abu Dhabi property

Local and international companies have signed bulk deals at developments including Al Rayyana and Gate Towers.

Abu Dhabi developer Aldar Properties said it has received a strong wave of demand for long-term bulk lease deals from corporate clients.

The lease agreements signed with corporate clients currently include 2,120 units, the developer said.

Local and international companies have signed bulk leases at Al Rayyana, The Gates Towers, The Arc, Sun and Sky Towers and Al Murjan Tower over the past year.

About 60 per cent of the units at Al Rayyana and 45 per cent of the apartments at The Arc are currently leased through bulk deals.

“All of our bulk leases have been won against a competitive backdrop, demonstrating the strength of the product offering. Our modern developments boast state-of-the-art amenities and are ideally located across Abu Dhabi, making them extremely attractive to companies looking to house large numbers of employees,” said Talal Al Dhiyebi, executive director of Asset Management at Aldar Properties.

In June Aldar said that its Al Rayyana development, consisting of 1,537 apartments across 33 low-rise residential buildings in Khalifa City A, had been fully leased out 18 months after it was evacuated because of a courtyard collapse.
