Aldar Properties has said that it is nearing completion on two of its new Abu Dhabi housing projects ahead of planned handovers in this autumn.
The developer said in that it was on track to hand over its Ansam project on Yas Island and Hadeel on Raha Beach in September.
The developer said it was currently completing glazing and an internal fit-out at Ansam and was completing plaster boarding and an internal fit-out at Hadeel.
Earlier this month Aldar announced it had awarded the main contractor package worth Dh500 million for its Mayan development of 512 flats.
In total, Aldar has more than 3,500 units under development at Yas Island.
Aldar said it was evaluating tender submissions for a main contractor to build Yas Acres and planned to award the contract in the second quarter of this year.
On Reem Island, Aldar said that it had completed basement blockwork and casting work on the floor slabs for its mid market Meera development. The developer said that it planned to flood its canal in the Shams area of Reem Island this month.
Elsewhere, the developer said it expected to start construction work on roads on its Nareel Island and Al Merief projects.
