The Ras al Khaimah-based property developer Al Hamra Real estate, which is behind the Dh4bn mixed-use Al Hamra Village development, has launched two separate companies dedicated to property management and maintenance. Residents in the community, which will eventually have 5000 residential units, a mall, marina and two hotels, have complained about poor services and expensive utilities; some have allegedly been billed up to Dh4000 a month for electricity.
