Jumbo Electronics has joined the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) giveaway frenzy by offering customers the chance to win gold every day during the month-long event.
For every purchase of Dh300 made at any Jumbo store, customers will receive a raffle coupon for an opportunity to win gold with 64 winners planned over the 32 days of the festival.
DSF, an annual shopping extravaganza that runs from January 5 to February 5, sees stores offering big discounts and dozens of competitions and raffles with up to Dh100 million in prizes.
Other offers mentioned in the Personal Finance section last week include the chance to win one of 32 cars in the Nissan Mega Raffle and a one in 5,000 chance of taking home an Infiniti QX56 model worth Dh350,000 plus Dh100,000 in cash in the Infiniti Mega Raffle. Jumbo Electronics, DSF's key sponsor and one of the nation's leading electronics retailers with 28 stores across the Emirates, will also launch other special promotions during DSF including deals and bundle offers on the latest Sony 3D internet TVs, smartphones and laptops.
"We have also shifted our gadget centric "Unwired" store in the Dubai Mall to a bigger location ahead of the festival to prepare for the large footfall expected during the month," says Nadeem Khanzadah, Head of Retail at Jumbo Electronics.
The retailer recently launched the UAE's first Sony Concept Showroom in its Mall of the Emirates store and has plans to open three more in the UAE next year. The new concept provides customers with a unique destination to explore the complete Sony experience.
