Make your soldiers of fortune work for you

Imagine having an army of workers toiling tirelessly, day in day out, just for you. They never grumble or ask for anything, they always do what they're told, are at your beck and call, and to top it all off, are fiercely loyal.
Imagine being the boss and calling all the shots.
How does it feel? Good? Like you have finally made it?
Now here's the thing: you can have this - right now ... your own employees earning you money.
How? Well, what you'd need to do is change the way you think about, and how you deal with, money.
You see, these wonder-workers that you now want are every single dirham that you have in your life. And this is what I'd like us to think about today: working for money versus money working for us.
Which would you rather have?
I know what I'd like: to have my employees, my dirhams, working for me, so that I can pick and choose the kind of jobs that I do and how I live.
The big thought here is that we need to keep our dirhams if we're to get them to work for us.
After all, it's not what you earn, it's what you keep that makes you wealthy.
I'm not using the word "save" deliberately by the way, because I'd like to get across the idea of keeping money, not just the percentage that's been decided by your adviser, friend or a blog you've just read, but for you to keep as much as possible.
Of course you want to treat yourself and enjoy life, but instead of spending what you earn, how about keeping your money, getting your soldiers of fortune working away for you, and then using the profit, what your dirham employees have earned you, to pay for the latest fad or fashion.
There are many ways of making this happen: it could be that you buy properties to rent out, or shares that pay out dividends, or even buy into a managed salon or bed and breakfast somewhere in the world.
Not every business venture will go smoothly or turn a profit. You need to do your due diligence, research and so on.
Again, the big thought here is that you think of money as a facilitator, an enabler, not as something to be used to buy stuff. Once you've spent your capital, it's gone for ever, but if you invest it in a cash-generating venture, it'll earn you profit that you can use for your wishes and whims.
Money is an idea. A very powerful one. Stop thinking of it in terms of what it can buy you - instead think of what money can do for you. A powerful shift in how you approach money is to go from a consumer-led way of living to having the focus and drive to keep as much money as possible in your life, and to invest it in cash-generating businesses. This will free you up to pursue your best life.
How about when you finish reading this you think about one thing that you can invest in that will generate cash flow? Make sure it's a reasonable investment - something you can aim for and achieve.
Next look through your outgoings (are you keeping a log of your daily expenses? If not start now). I'm sure you can see, straight away, things that you can cut back on. Why not think of ways that will earn you some extra income to pay into your cash flow investment fund? Get excited about it and you'll figure things out.
People keep saying how they need help to fix their money issues. How about you use your money to fix your life issues?
Every time you spend on things that are not important, you've lost a great employee. Your employee needs and thrives with a large number of co-workers. If employed correctly, these workers will recruit others and grow your employee base, and your wealth.
Make your world go around by keeping the money you have in your life, and making it work for you.

Why are you, you?

Why are you, you?
From this question, a new beginning.
From this question, a new destiny.
For you are a world, and a meeting of worlds.
Our dream is to unite that which has been
separated by history.
To return the many to the one.
A great story unites us all,
beyond colour and creed and gender.
The lightning flash of art
And the music of the heart.
We reflect all cultures, all ways.
We are a twenty first century wonder.
Universal ideals, visions of art and truth.
Now is the turning point of cultures and hopes.
Come with questions, leave with visions.
We are the link between the past and the future.
Here, through art, new possibilities are born. And
new answers are given wings.

Why are you, you?
Because we are mirrors of each other.
Because together we create new worlds.
Together we are more powerful than we know.
We connect, we inspire, we multiply illuminations
with the unique light of art.
