Emirates is to ramp up its capacity on its Dubai to Doha route to nine flights a day, effective from October 30.
The airline currently serves the Qatari capital with seven daily flights, and the additional services have been scheduled to facilitate shorter connection times to popular destinations in Southeast Asia, Emirates said.
More than half a million passengers travelled in the Dubai-Doha route in the first half of the year, while Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing reported a 26 per cent increase in visitors to Dubai from Qatar in the first quarter over the period in the previous year.
