The new stamp, featuring a 1940s image of actress Ingrid Bergman, got a rapturous applause at the Swedish embassy in Washington.
The stamp was first issued by both the US and Swedish postal services on August 20th.
The Swedish Bergman won three Academy Awards, two Emmys and a Tony Award during her career.
She would have been 100-years-old this year.
