Celebrity bloggers have claimed in the past weeks that parts of an episode of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, where Kim Kardashian reveals to her mum that her marriage to Kris Humphries was collapsing, were staged.
Several published photos seem to lend weight to the theory: Pacific Coast News images showed the mother and daughter leaving a Los Angeles sound stage, Kardashian in the same hair and clothes she was wearing in the Dubai scene and Jenner with the purple caftan she carried behind her.
Last week, Kris Humphries's lawyer also claimed the scene was shot two months after the Dubai trip. But the matriarch of the Kardashian clan insisted in the programme Showbiz Tonight that the scene was indeed filmed in Dubai as the pair headed to the airport.
"Everyone is going to take a shot about something and, you know, challenge you at every turn," Jenner said. "At some point you have to let it roll off your back."
Bollywood's Esha Deol engaged
The Bollywood actress Esha Deol got engaged to her longtime businessman boyfriend, Bharat Takhtani, at a family ceremony held in suburban Juhu on Sunday afternoon.
The 29-year-old Deol, the eldest daughter of Bollywood actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, is a trained Bharata Natyam dancer who made her acting debut in 2002. Though she starred in the popular action flicks Dhoom and Yuva, her acting career failed to take off. Her mother tried to relaunch her career with a home production, Tell Me O Khuda, which even had special appearances from Salman Khan and Dharmendra, but the film flopped on release in October 2011.
Mariah posts baby pics too; Beyoncé trademarks Blue Ivy
After Jay-Z and Beyoncé debuted photos of their baby daughter Blue Ivy Carter on Friday on the microblogging site Tumblr, fellow musician parents Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon followed their example and also took to the web to post photos of their nine-month-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe. The photos are posted on www.dembabies.com.
Meanwhile, PerezHilton.com reported yesterday that Jay-Z and Beyoncé have filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office to protect their daughter's name. Apparently, the couple are attempting to secure the trademark after learning that a relatively unknown fashion designer, Joseph Mbeh, had submitted an application to trademark "Blue Ivy Carter NYC", just four days after the baby was born. The patent office denied Mbeh's application.

The Andrew Lloyd Webber musical opened on Broadway on January 26, 1988.
Iraqi contestant bumped out of Idol
Although the Iraqi contestant Mohammed Al Ilwan was the latest singer to be voted off Arab Idol during the show's third week of live performances, his musical career still promises to take off, courtesy of the Emirati judge Ahlam.
After the voting results revealed his elimination, Ahlam promised Al Ilwan to produce a song and music video for him, insisting that he "deserved it".
While Ahlam and his fellow judges Ragheb Alameh and Hasan Al Shafei refused to use the "save card" to keep Al Ilwan on the show, his talent, they said, deserves to be nurtured.
Al Ilwan chose to sing Kuli Ahibuki for the Iraqi singer Kathem Al Saher, whom the contestant has often described as his own personalArab idol.
The guest singer for Saturday night's elimination episode was the Lebanese pop star Assi Al Hilani.
