  Baume & Mercier offer a new timepiece for women, with the arrival of the Promesse 10347. The 34mm case is decorated with 30 brilliant-cut diamonds (0.38 carats), and the dial with four diamonds (0.02 carats). The stainless steel case is offset by the blue of the dial and strap. The annual watch exhibition was held in Geneva, Switzerland from January 16 to 20 this year. With the somewhat chewy title of Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (abbreviated to the easier SIHH), it serves to bring together some of the finest watchmakers in the world to show off their new and extraordinary creations, as well as setting timepiece trends for the year.
