Steven Seagal may run for governor

Steven Seagal says he's considering running for the governor’s office in the US state of Arizona.

The 61-year-old made the comments while talking to KNXV-TV about his new reality series Steven Seagal – Lawman: Maricopa County.

In the show, Seagal is a member of the Maricopa county sheriff Joe Arpaio’s posse, which is made up of 3,000 unpaid civilians.

Seagal has also has been deputised with sheriff’s offices in New Mexico, Texas and Louisiana and says he wants to increase border security.
