Short+Sweet Dance Festival Dubai is looking for the best dancer in the UAE

Put on your dancing shoes and join one of the biggest international dance festivals that will be coming to Dubai, this month.

Resident performing artists and dance groups will have the floor to showcase their best synchronised moves in the first edition of Short+Sweet Dance Festival, which will be launched on April 19.

An offshoot of the fast theatre concept Short+Sweet from Sydney, the dance festival is a platform for amateur and professional dancers of all ages and in any dance form. Participants will have to prepare a routine of not more than 10 minutes to compete.

The festival, organised by Dubai-based dance company The Ripple Effect, follows the successful Dubai Short+Sweet festival format, which is now in its fourth year.

Auditions for the first round will be held from April 19 to 23, with the semi-finals and finals scheduled for May 19 and 28.

Registration for the festival is free on www.facebook.com/groups/ssdanceuae
