Sherine is returning to the second season of The Voice. The Egyptian pop princess confirmed the news at a press conference yesterday as part of the music festival Mawazine in the Moroccan capital Rabat. "I am looking forward to it," she said. "Yes, it is hard work, but the pay-off is amazing, as we saw on the first season." Sherine said that the bonds between fellow mentors - Iraq's Kadim Al Sahir, Tunis' Saber El Rebai and Lebanon's Assi Hellani - remain strong despite clear differences in character. "I am the youngest so l feel very respectful towards them. I make sure I knock before entering their rooms," she said. "Kadim's is very shy and quiet while Samer's can be very direct but it is a great atmosphere." The UK's Jessie J also conducted a press conference, shedding some light on the anticipated follow-up to her 2011 debut Who You Are . "I don't want to talk too much about it as I want to make it as surprise as well," she said. "But it felt really good to step back to the studio and try new things. I wrote some of the songs on the first album when I was 18. I am still the same person but a lot of things have changed as well. The songs are very positive, I can say that." Tinariwen live at Mawazine Festival. As well as main-stage performances from both Sherine and Jessie J last night, Mawazine also lived up to it's reputation as a world music festival with a stellar performance by Tinariwen. Performing at the smaller beach-side Bouregreg stage, the Mali group finished their world tour with another sensual live performance blending elements of the Touareg music tradition with the American Delta Blues. Follow Scene and Heard for all the festival action from Mawazine
