As Sun shows Jia around the neighbourhood and they play at each other’s houses and share secrets, they become best friends. <em>• </em><em>Abu Dhabi: Friday, 7pm; Dubai: April 14, 7pm</em> <strong>The Throne (2015)</strong> <strong>Director</strong><strong> Lee Jun-ik</strong> <strong>12+</strong> In the year 1762, crown prince Sado is accused of plotting treason against his father, King Yeongjo of the Joseon dynasty, who has ruled for 35 years. Yeongjo is faced with a dilemma as condemning his son would make him the father of a traitor, threatening his throne. <em>• </em><em>Abu Dhabi: Friday, 9pm; Dubai: April 14, 9pm</em> <strong>Dongju: The Portrait of a Poet (2016)</strong> <strong>Director </strong><strong>Lee Jun-ik</strong> <strong>12+</strong> Biographical drama, set in the Japanese colonial era, about a young poet called Dong-ju, who writes about the harsh reality of his life. As Japan’s policies get more severe, writing in Korean is prohibited. <em>• </em><em>Abu Dhabi: Saturday, 9pm Dubai: April 15, 9pm</em> <strong>Tunnel (2016)</strong> <strong>Director </strong><strong>Kim Seong-hun</strong> <strong>12+</strong> A car dealer on his way home with a birthday cake for his daughter drives into a tunnel that collapses on him, trapping him in the debris. <em>• </em><em>Abu Dhabi: Saturday, 7pm; Dubai: April 15, 7pm</em>
