Possibly the year's biggest gaming news could come a whole lot earlier than anticipated.
The eagerly awaited PlayStation 4 wasn't expected to be announced until later in the year but experts now believe it's going to be revealed at a mysterious Sony event in New York labelled "PlayStation Meeting" on February 20.
According to some analysts keen to get in there first, the PS4 will feature AMD graphics chips and processors capable of rendering games at 240 frames per second (about four times the current rate) and include a redesigned DualShock controller with a central touchpad and a "share" button to let players post screenshots and videos.
Still, it's probably best just to wait for the announcement.
