According to AP, 79-year-old composer-producer Quincy Jones has co-created the music version of Rosetta Stone. Dubbed 'Playground Sessions' the new music education application - with real-time feedback and video tutorials - teaches users how to read music and understand the mechanics of piano playing. "There’s such a need for this - the concept is brand-new." says Jones "I have been praying for this for a long time. I’m blown away by this.” Chris Vance, who co-created the app, teamed up with Jones more than a year ago after working alone on the project for three years. The app features almost 70 well-known songs by Beyonce and Justin Bieber, as well as classic by the likes of Frank Sinatra.
