It promises to be a day of fun: Holi Colour Vibe UAE kicks off in Dubai on Friday, March 25, so put on your oldest clothes and get ready to be sprayed in a rainbow of colours.

The day begins as early as 10am at JA Al Sahra Desert Resort and Equestrian Centre, where Indian playback singer Shalmali Kholgade will get the crowd grooving to her dance numbers during the spring festival. The Hindu festival is one of India’s most popular festivals, and is celebrated outdoors with coloured powder and water.

Kholgade is perhaps best-known for her Holi track Balam Pichkari, which featured in the 2013 film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. She will be joined by Indian DJs and singers Deep Money, Indeep Bakshi and Ns Chauhan.

Tickets are from Dh100 on dubai.platinumlist.net
