<span class="s2">Ozzy Osbourne has denied rumours of splitting up with his wife Sharon and apologised to his family for returning to alcohol and illegal substances. The former Black Sabbath singer says he was in a "dark place" but has been sober for 44 days. In a message posted on Tuesday on his Facebook page, Osbourne, 64, said: "For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs". He then apologised for his "insane behaviour". But now that his wife Hilaria Thomas is expecting their first baby, Baldwin told <em>The Hollywood Reporter </em>he wants to be a better parent. "The only thing that I regret is that I missed so much of my daughter's childhood because of this contentious situation. And that wasn't what I wanted. So I find that now I have another chance," he said. Baldwin, 55, added that he wants to keep his family away from the limelight. "I have a daughter coming. The film academy announced on Tuesday that it has invited Zadan and Meron to return for the 2014 Academy Awards, to be telecast on March 2. The two producers said they're honoured to come back. Their first Oscars featured Seth MacFarlane as the host and drew the show's largest audience since 2010. There's no word on whether MacFarlane will also return as host. Tribeca announced the prize on Tuesday, on the eve of its 12th annual festival. The US$25,000 (Dh92,000) award will be presented to a woman writer or director "who embodies the spirit and vision" of Ephron. Ephron, who died last year at the age of 71, was famous for her books, plays and movies, including <em>When Harry Met Sally </em>and <em>Sleepless in Seattle</em>. </span><span class="s3">– AP</span> <span class="s1"><strong>Daft Punk to debut album in Wee Waa</strong></span> <span class="s2">The French electro duo Daft Punk's new album <em>Random Access Memories</em> will be launched on May 17 in the tiny Australian town of Wee Waa – better known for its cotton than music. The tracks will also be streamed live online around the world. Daft Punk plan to screen their latest video at the 79th Wee Waa Regional Show, a fair with a long tradition of wood chopping, pick-up trucks and cowboy boots.
