Explore the garden in Islamic miniature painting
This exhibition in Berlin brings together a collection of miniature paintings that examine the garden in Islamic art as an image of paradise, a place of visual representation and recreation. These gardens evoke many associations: fountains, streams and ornate pavilions that serve as a retreat from the sun. Picnic in the Park: Gardens in Islamic Miniature Painting runs at the Pergamon Museum of Islamic Art until June 21. For more information visit www.smb.museum.

Tate sets the record straight on Sonia Delaunay
This is the first retrospective of Sonia Delaunay to be held in Britain. Timely, then, as the contribution of the European doyenne of abstract art is often under-appreciated. This exhibition in London will feature groundbreaking colourful works spanning painting, fashion and design and will showcase her colossal impact on modern art. The EY Exhibition: Sonia Delaunay runs at Tate Modern from Wednesday until August 9. For more information visit www.tate.org.uk.
