OSN has signed an exclusive deal for regional coverage of UFC, the leading mixed martial arts organisation. As well as the fights themselves, viewers are promised pre and post-fight shows and events, the reality show The Ultimate Fighter, and a forthcoming UFC Fight Pass, a digital subscription service which OSN says will feature the world’s largest combat sports library, including all past UFC events. The live fight action gets underway on February 11 with UFC 208: Holm v De Randamie.
Andy Warkman, OSN’s VP for sport, commented: “UFC on OSN will be industry-defining. We will produce localised Arabic content for the region, from the region to give UFC fans an unrivalled experience.”
