Nightmares on Wax and Sneaky Sound System have been added to the bill for the forthcoming DXBeach festival.

They will join previously announced headliners Mark Ronson and Jess Glynne at the new al fresco concept, to be hosted at Zero Gravity on Friday April 24.

A longtime associate of Warp Records, Nightmares on Wax is UK producer George Evelyn, known for making distinctive trippy, trendy electronica. He was last spotted in the UAE at the same venue in December.

Sneaky Sound System are an Australian duo known for biting, upbeat electro, which went down a storm at early Sandance festivals back in both March and November 2011.

The 5,000-capacity DXBeach concept will take place on a previously unused beach area at SkyDive Dubai’s Zero Gravity venue.

Mark Ronson arrived off the back of worldwide smash Uptown Funk, while Glynne is currently sitting pretty at the top of the UK album chart with Hold My Hand.

The bill is rounded out with DJs Danny Howard and John Dahlbäck, alongside local talent.

Doors open at noon and the party carries on straight through until 3am – expect more local acts to be announced in coming weeks.

Early bird tickets will cost Dh200, with Dh250 for general admission and VIP access for Dh500. A brunch package is available for Dh495, running from noon to 3pm and including entry to the gig.

Tickets go on sale on April 1 from www.platinumlist.ae, www.virginmegastore.me and www.ticketmaster.ae. Pre-register for ticket sales at www.dxbeach.ae to ensure you don't miss out
