The late actress Naya Rivera's voice will be heard in a new Batman animated film<em> Batman: The Long Hallowee<em>n</em>, Part One</em>, scheduled to be released in the summer. <em>Glee</em> star Rivera, who accidentally <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/arts-culture/television/body-found-in-lake-piru-in-search-for-missing-glee-actress-naya-rivera-1.1048763" target="_blank">drowned during a boating trip</a> in July 2020, will voice Catwoman/Selina Kyle, <em>The Hollywood Reporter</em> says. The film will feature an ensemble voice cast including <em>Supernatural </em>actor Jensen Ackles, who will voice Batman/Bruce Wayne. Josh Duhamel will voice supervillain Harvey Dent, while voice actor Troy Baker will take on Joker. Rivera completed her voice work as Catwoman/Selina Kyle for <em>The Long Halloween</em>, which will be a two-part project, according to <em>The Hollywood Reporter</em>. Chris Palmer, who directed the 2020 animated film <em>Superman: Man of Tomorrow</em>, will helm the Batman film, produced by Warner Bros Animation, DC Films and Warner Bros Home Entertainment. Rivera, best known for her role as cheerleader Santana in the TV series <em>Glee</em>, was declared missing after her son, Josey, 4, was found alone in a rented boat at a Los Angeles reservoir last year. <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/arts-culture/television/rest-in-peace-you-wild-hilarious-beautiful-angel-stars-pay-tribute-to-glee-actress-naya-rivera-after-body-found-in-lake-piru-1.1048843" target="_blank">Her body was recovered five days later</a>.
