Abhishek Bachchan to rap with Nelly
Abhishek Bachchan will appear – and rap – in an upcoming video with the Grammy Award-winner Nelly. The video for Until the Sun Comes Up, a hip-hop single from the Canadian musician Raghav, is due out the last week in August. Raghav told the Mumbai Mirror the pairing would be the first of many collaborations with the 39-year-old actor. "Nelly is a legend and Abhishek is all heart," he said. "They refused to charge any fee for the song. The signing amount, decided by the music label, has gone to charity. Since the song is about leading people from darkness to light, we planned on lighting up two African villages with our music." Bachchan has rapped before, memorably, performing Right Here Right Now during the end credits of the 2005 film Bluffmaster. – The National staff
